Children cannot tell you exactly what hurts - which is why they need a doctor trained to understand them. Our paediatrics department cares for newborns, infants and children, close to home, so a midnight fever no longer means a drive to the city.

The child specialist is supported by the hospital's own laboratory and pharmacy, so tests and medicines are arranged in the same visit. For emergencies, the hospital is open around the clock and the ambulance service is free.

Is a child specialist available at Amir Hospital?
Yes. From opening day (1 September 2026), the hospital runs a dedicated paediatrics department (شعبہ اطفال). Timings are on the Doctors page and can be confirmed by phone or WhatsApp.
What should I do if my child has a high fever at night?
Come straight to the hospital - our emergency is open 24/7. If you need transport, call us: the ambulance service is free.
